Kissing his feet traditionally is the way for the sub to express her gratitude, devotion and submission and in many cases will be traditional welcome. But there is a lot more to this. In this article we’ll explain several things about it.

First of all, this: it should never become a routine and if kissing his feet is a regular thing for the submissive to do, the dominant should make sure it doesn’t become the equivalent of the routine morning kiss on the cheek, for example by implementing rules on exactly how to kiss his feet. Don’t let her off easy – if it is supposed to be special, it MUST be special!

If kissing his feet is her signal of devotion and submission it is even more special than the French kiss and hence should be performed with at least as many grace, effort and dedication. Just a quick kiss is just not good enough. It should be a long, careful, gentle, loving tongue kiss and she must show every time how happy she is and how much she wants to please and serve her dominant.

Experienced doms will usually consider just a kiss not enough and will turn this into an important ritual where he will sit down, have her take off his shoes (or boots) and socks and kiss, wash and massage his tired feet with her tongue. A long and dedicated ritual and there are very little ways to beat this type of foot massage.

Health and Safety

Provided the dominant cares about his personal hygiene there are actually no real health risks here. The mouth – especially the saliva – has sufficient self-disinfecting ability to deal with the hygienic aspects, but of course this is not something you should do if you have a very “hygiene demanding” job, in which case the feet should be washed thoroughly with soap and water first (now what a lovely extra tasks this is). And if you have any foot related health problems, it is not a good idea to do this either, but other than that, the health risks are minimal.

Of course is is a good idea to expand on such rituals, such as having her care for your feet in other ways as well.

Increased Difficulties

To quite a few doms even a dedicated long ritual will not be good enough, and they will want to see more effort from their submissives. You can do that easily by either tying or cuffing her hands behind her back or simply telling her to keep them there or behind the head. Since this is a job she can only do when she is on her knees, that will make the job extra demanding since she will have to take extra care of her balance (which at the same time happens to be a very good exercise for her back and abdominal muscles – imagine how she can work out, do figure correction and perform her slave duties as well).

Foot worship is an important thing for both subs and doms in many case And, to many, it is a fetish as well.

Bootlicking

Besides taking care of his bare feet, there is also the possibility of letting her take care of her master’s boots. This however does not a bit of preparation, especially for safety reasons.
It is not a good idea to let her clean your work shoes or anything else you have just walked the streets with, with her tongue (although that idea might be an appealing thought). What you do is this. Either use the boots you only wear during active play (which she has to bring and put on first of course), or have her thoroughly clean and shine your boots first. Shouldn’t she actually be supposed to keep your boots spic and span all the time?

After that she can kiss them or clean them entirely with her tongue (top to bottom) and this again can easily be turned into a ritual which will make a great entree to further play. This is what many doms will do:

1. First she must pre-clean and shine his boots.
2. The she must clean them entirely with her tongue.
3. Finally – if that is technically possible – she must shine them using her own hair and maybe – if she’s already wet enough – with her own vaginal fluids.

Again you can easily increase the effort, she must make, by disallowing her the use of her hands for support.

How is that for a long and intense ritual. Remember that good and intense BDSM play is like haute cuisine cooking and dining. It starts with an entree to create appetite and rituals such as these make great appetizers.

Boot & Shoe Cleaning

Having to lick boots can be a very dirty (and even unhealthy) job. The slave herself can do a lot to make sure she is not confronted with lots of dirt, dust and health risks. In other words, if she does a proper job, licking His boots will be a humiliation, but not more than that. If it is, it will be her own fault. This is how quite a few experienced dominants handle this.

1. The slave is required to clean, polish and shine his boots at least once every week (wether actually used or not) to perfection, more often – sometimes every day – if master ears his boots on a daily basis.

2. When necessary she should make sure this is also done immediately prior to active play.

3. When in active play (some require this as an opening routine, other do it occasionally) the slave is required to fully clean the boots with her tonque (and we mean everything, so including the soles). This will be a very dirty and unpleasant job if she did not maintain the boots well in the first place.

4. Some require their slave to give the boots an extra shine using her sexual juices (i.e. “riding” the boots) and maybe even polish them again using her hair after that.

As you can see this is an easy to implement job (all you need to do is regularly inspect the boots – we strongly advise you to make these surprise inspections). It is also one that she will benefit from herself.
