Paint Me Submissive

Sometimes making a real mess can be highly erotic. One way to do that is to use ……… paint. Pour it over her, color her and make her scream about this new and unknown substance on her naked flesh.

You can create all sorts of effects with paint and other substances, it can be fun, it can be humiliating and especially to a sub in bondage it usually dramatically enhances the feeling of being helpless and at the mercy of the dom. Especially since it probably will be a completely new sensation, the impact will be huge.

Safety First

Not all substances are completely safe to use on the body. For example, using lacquer, varnish or enamel paint is NOT a good idea. First of all, it is very difficult to get it off again (and getting it off usually requires pretty aggressive agents), but more importantly, such paint interferes with the skin’s ability to both breath and expel. This – if larger parts of the body are kept covered in such substances long enough (long enough = less than an hour) – can be potentially lethal.

So, what DO you use? One of the best ideas is to go to …….. Toys ‘R’ Us and get yourself a nice quantity of “finger paint” – the stuff small children use to paint with. It is completely safe (since it is to be used by small children anyway, who are likely not just to paint with it, but even eat it), it comes off easily (just take a shower), and it is easy to use. Finally, it’s cheap.

Another alternative is to use watercolor (aquarel paint), but this – since it has to be diluted with water – will usually not leave very much color on the skin.

Being sprinkled, covered or sprayed with paint can be either very erotic, very humiliating or just fun and it is usually harmless, if you avoid two things:

• the eyes of course, so it may be a good idea to blindfold your sub, which also increases the effects as well as the responses afterwards

• accidentally bringing any paint inside the vagina or anus

Other than that, it is plain fun, not only the mess itself, but also the cleaning job afterwards.

For practical reasons: make sure you cover the floor and the walls of your play area with foil and use only rope for your bondages (since these are a lot cheaper to dispose off when they get painted). Water color and finger paint won’t harm your leather, but the cleaning process (which requires water) will, simply because leather needs to be dried and then re-rubbed with Vaseline, a process that will eventually wear it out.
