Bondage Furniture : The Beam

It doesn’t always have to be difficult or spectacular to be very effective. Besides, since not everyone has a dungeon or playroom available, many will benefit from simple furniture solutions (such as the ladder). Here again is one of these attributes that are both highly effective and that do not need to be hidden or securely stored: The Beam.

The simplest description of the beam is: the crossbar of a standard cross. It be either a 4×4 or rounded wooden or iron beam (the latter will be heavier, hence will have more impact) that her arms will be tied to – leaving her able to move about, yet rendering her completely helpless.

The beam is something anyone can make easily, since you can keep it as simple as you like – i.e. just a beam – or enhance it with more options, such as rings that will allow you to rapidly clip on cuffs and straps, if you prefer using leather restraints over rope, for example.

β -  As long as you make sure the beam is strong and stiff enough, you’re alright.

β – You can simply place it in a corner somewhere when it is not needed. No fancy or hidden storage place needed.

β -Just a touch of black paint will give it it’s BDSM-look.

β -The beam, by some people, is described as “the portable cross” and actually that is exactly what it is.

β – It does not have to be restricted to just tying her arms to it – you can use it in many other ways as well, which is what makes this very simple attribute so versatile

Helpless & Exposed

What the beam will do is that it will make her feel very helpless.

Part of this is the result is that the slave will still be able to move about, which only emphasizes that part of her freedom, that has been taken from her. On top of that, the exposure factor – of her vulnerable breasts – is enormous.

Should you opt for a metal beam (scaffolding pipe is ideal for that) it also becomes more difficult to carry (it will feel heavy on her shoulders) which increases the effect dramatically.
