The technique for anal fisting basically is no different from the technique, described in the article about vaginal fisting, with a few exceptions. First of all: you need more time, more patience, a lot more lubricant and quite likely a training program to get to this stage. For safety reasons: wear gloves and trim and file your nails as short and smooth as you can.
The main physical difference between vaginal and anal fisting is inside. During anal fisting there are two “hurdles” to take. The circular (external sphincter) muscle (the anus itself) is the first one. The next circular (internal sphincter) muscle is inside, right in front of something else to consider: a sharp turn upwards (when standing up). This muscle also requires relaxation and training, although not as much as the anus itself.
In a man/woman relationship it may be the question if you ever want to make it to passing the second “hurdle”. Filling up and internally massaging the rectum (the area immediately behind the anus) is extremely satisfying and physically nice to a woman, since it does something that otherwise cannot be done: massaging the outside of the uterus. Going up further is a challenge and may very well contribute to the intense emotional aspects, but has little to no real physical effects.
It will tell you when it is ready
Once inside you will notice you can go a long way. You will also notice that its not a “straight shot,” the rectum curves inside the body. For safety reasons do not push your arm in any further than just behind the wrist and only make slow, gentle movements.
As explained, the anus itself will tell you when it is ready to take more. This may take a long time and usually is not accomplished during the first three or four attempts to fist. If you make it to inserting two or three fingers during your first attempts, you are doing very. very well and asking for more is simply impossible. The natural response to any anal stimulation is to push out – which is what the entire part is designed for. You need to overcome this natural reflex as well as the mental aspects of your sub. This will only be achieved through a patient, understanding and careful attitude with a lot of communication. Going too fast in the beginning may very well lead to a situation where you will never be able to make it all the way to fisting, no matter how hard both partners want it. Wait for the anus to open up itself and never ever apply pressure.
The same applies to the way back. When retracting you need to take care and – as opposed to your way in – completely ignore the signals the anus is giving. The anus will want to push your fist out. Ignore that. Take your time and slowly work your way backward and retract your fist. You will probably have to add some more lubricant to make this a smooth operation. Retracting too quickly – i.e. responding to the pressure – may cause the anus to cramp, which is very, very painful (although harmless).
Rectum training
Rectum and anal training is a very good idea, if the two of you are planning to enter into anal play – especially if you plan on fisting. As explained it is next to impossible to achieve full fisting during your first try. Both for psychological as well as physical reasons it is a good idea to work your way up to that through training. Which can be a fun training course in itself. And since the vast majority of slaves will “fall” for any concept, that will “train” them for something, you’re in luck, especially in areas like these where some training and practicing at least is a must.
Start with small butt plugs first. You can buy simple harnesses with a set of clip-on plugs in different sizes for example. This will allow the sub to have a plug inserted and keep it there for a while, slowly working her way up to the larger plugs.
Alternatively, you can use an inflatable dildo, that is hardly inflated at first, but that “grows” as the training progresses.
Eventually – by the time the sub is able to accept and hold dildos or plugs, the size of a fist, the dominant can actually try using his own fist. By then an inexperienced dom will also have learned how long it takes to insert larger objects and how much care and patience is needed.
Always and only use anal toys that have an “emergency break” at the end, either a stop or a strong rope attached to it. There is no telling if and when the anus may accidentally swallow toys (the truth is, it doesn’t happen all the frequently, but it does sometimes and you don’t want to have to go to the nearest emergency station for something like that) and you will want to be able to pull it out if it happens.
