The Chair – Issu – to some extend has an equivalent in Western bondage, where it is called the love
swing. However, Issu is far more complicated than that. The position was designed to have intercourse while the recipient is suspended. Depending on your level of skill if is also possible to have anal intercourse in this position. This is a midlevel position, meaning that it is not easy to maintain for a very long time without sufficient training and the bondage is more complex to tie.
Issu also allows for additional forms of more intens added discomfort such as whipping, caning or spanking the buttocks or do waxplay in that area.
And that is exactly where the beauty of this suspension is. Giver and recipient can end an intens session with the act of love, while she is still in bondage and, by lifitng her, he can allow her relief of the stress.
Issu can be maintained for a reasonable period of time (some 30 to 40 minutes) by a trained and prepared recipient, provided the legs are given sufficient support so the recipient ccn shift the weight between the back and the legs.
Since her center of gravity is between the legs, that is easy to do and the position is a natural one, as opposed to many other suspension positions.
Finally, the position is ideal for the end result of enemas and watersports and allows for easy expelling. And of course for all sorts of anal and or vaginal – depending on the exact position – stimulation and torment.
Making Issu
Making Issu is not complicated in the sense of tieing it, but it does require some experimenting to get the pressure right, in order to allow the recipient to succesfully fight the gravity pull for any length of time.. Start with having the recipient standing, secure her arms on her back in any position you like. You have a number of different options.
(a) Tie her hands above her head to the beam, wrap another rope around her waist and sercure that to the beam as well as well. Make sure the tension between the arm-ropes and waist rope is even. You may add another rope around the torso under the breasts for extra support and security later.
(b) Use Karada and tie two or more ropes to the front and the back between the breasts and the back and one on the back at waist-height and connect these to the beam (Do make sure that, when you use Karada, the ropes in the vaginal area are on either side of the labia. Using Karada may be painful during the construction of the suspension due to rope pressure on the pubic bone)
(c) Use Emóno, connect suspension ropes to the front and back of the lower windings of Enómo and wrap another around the waist and secure all to beam.
Next, make two loops at the end of two individual ropes and hang these from the ceiling as well. Now lift the legs, lead them through the loops as a temporary solution – she is sitting now – and concentrate on tieing the legs more secure after that in any position you like: either wide apart, folded, together or whatever else you fancy. One note: if the legs are folded – i.e. in “kneeling” position, there will be extra strain on the lower legs, especially the shinbones. This can be quite painful. If you plan to fold the legs it is better to support the upper legs first (for example leave the leg loops intact, and then fold the legs.
