Bondage Furniture : The Gynecologists’ Chair

A “GC” – as it is usually, “affectionately” called – is probably the wet dream of every dungeon-owning dominant and one of the biggest fears of many submissive’s, since it usually brings up memories of embarrassing visits to her doctor. And since it is likely to bring up the element of fear, it is something worth having a closer look at anyway. Plus, a GC is one of the most versatile pieces of furniture you can get. If you can get one that is, because they are very hard to find and usually expensive.

One question, frequently brought up, is “where can I buy/find one”. Well, as we said that may not be very easy, but these hints may help:

Check local flea markets and car boot sales regularly. You’ll be amazed how much medical equipment, most of which is useful in a BDSM-setting, you’ll find there.

Subscribe yourself to the local doctors magazine if you can or a medical journal of some kind and check the ads regularly. Quite often you will find doctors or hospitals trying to sell such items.

But the number one hint is this one: you do not need the entire chair. Actually all you really need are the leg supports, the GC is all about. An increasing number of countries nowadays have something like “care shops” or “health shops”. In other words, shops that sell all sorts of semi-medical equipment, usually used by elderly. There you will often find sets of leg supports, that can easily be mounted on a bed, a chair or a (bondage) table and these will do just nicely. Plus, they are a lot less expensive.

The GC of course has everything to do with genital and anal “inspection”, but there is a lot more, you can use it for.

Geniplay for example, since the sub is safely and securely strapped and relatively comfortable.

Many doms also find the GC is a very useful tool for orgasm training, since the sub is comfortable, yet fully strapped and wide open to all forms of stimulation.

In this sense, it may also be a very helpful instrument while training for – vaginal only – fisting.

And the nice thing is, the sub will – the next time she visits her doctor – probably have to face other forms of embarrassment, as soon as the “other identity” of the dreaded chair kicks in.
