Chastity Belt Considerations

This article deals with a couple of things to consider before buying chastity belts, especially when the objective is to wear them for longer periods of time. Here you will find some considerations form the female point of view as well as a set of instructions on how to measure yourself in the event you will be mail ordering a chastity belt.

Female Chastity Belt Considerations

The best chastity belt to use for long term is stainless steel. Any metal other than this will rust or tarnish with long term wear. Some things to consider are the following: going to the washroom, taking a shower, sleeping, working, and personal hygiene.

The metal chastity belt should be designed with holes for excrement and urine. If these aren’t there, don’t buy it. The cleaning process afterwards does take a few minutes and you should be prepared to get a little on your hands when cleaning. That in itself forms part of the discomfort of a chastity belt and is something to consider before entering into this.

Taking a shower takes a few times to get used to, but should become a routine after a while. Just be sure to wash under the metal surface.

Sleeping is a little uncomfortable, but once again you can get used to it. The lock on the back (if there is one) can be a little uncomfortable. It is better to have one on the front or side.

Try to avoid going to the restroom at work, because the stalls are usually small and a little uncomfortable for the extra cleaning needed.

Other things to consider are a thorough visit to the bathroom before going out or visiting friends and/or family.

Another thing to be aware of is metal detectors, not only on airports and such. Some shops use metal detectors to prevent shoplifting and discotheques will often use metal detectors to prevent trouble – for example people carrying knives. Also, make sure your work environment does not use metal detectors for security reasons. All these things can get you into unexpected trouble easily.

You may consider using different types of belts for different purposes. You can use leather, but be aware that water will cause it to stretch, and the dye to possibly run (and stain your skin and clothing – leather dye stains can be very tough to get off again). Brass is not recommended due to tarnishing and skin discoloring with long term wear.

Measuring Yourself

Your waist is below your rib cage and above your hip bone. It is the place between these two bone structures where you can draw your belt in, to the smallest measurement. You must make your measurements from this point on your body, or your belt will not fit you properly.

An ordinary fabric tape measure is the best to use. Make measurements next to the skin, the tape should be snug and flat. You can not measure yourself, but you need either your partner or the designer (best choice) to help you. Take time and double check all measurements. Measurements should be taken while standing with feet 18″ apart, hands at back of head.

The data your designer will need are the following (in the event you are mail ordering):

• height

• weight

• normal waist

• controlled waist

• front waist down to top of labia

• front waist down to down to vagina

• vagina down between legs to anus

• front center waist down between legs to anus

• anus to rear center waist

• front waist down between legs to rear center waist

• waist front between legs and over buttocks to a point 3.5″ from center back

Notes:

• Fasten a 1-1/2″ belt around the waist, (waist: the smallest circumference below rib cage and above hip bone) tighten to the point at which you feel you feel you would be able to wear it, mark and measure.

• From the front center waist, bottom edge of the belt, measure down to the top of the top of the labia.

• From the front center waist, bottom edge of the belt, measure down to the vagina.

• From the front center waist, bottom edge of the belt; measure down between the legs to the anus (insert a small object so that you will have a point to measure to).

• With the object still inserted, measure from the anus up to the rear center, bottom of the belt.

• Locate the center back of the belt and mark its position, make a mark 3.5″ to the right and another 3.5″ to the left. From the front center bottom edge of the belt, measure down between the legs and up over the buttocks to the right side 3.5″ mark at the rear waist bottom edge. Repeat for left side mark. This measurement should be the same on both sides and serves only as a double check. The tape should not be pulled up in the crack of your butt for this measurement.
