Spanking is probably the most personal and intimate form of erotic discipline.

There is nothing quite like the feel of the young lady bent over your knee, bare bottom arched upwards, quivering with a combination of fear and anticipation. To her it provides a very unique feeling – both physically and mentally.

Spanking is probably the oldest, simplest and most direct form of domestic corporal punishment. Ceremony and Symbolism

Spanking through the ages has always been “the poor mens’ punishment”. Ever since the Egyptian pharaos (and may be even earlier) the ability to punish with some sort of spanking, flogging or whipping has always been a symbol of power.

The pharaos have always been pictured with a small whip in their hands as a symbol of power and this goes for the Roman “faces” (a little whip) as well. An important part of the spanking ceremony is the position, bottom up, over the knee. The significance here is the fact that the young lady has to actively participate in the discipline ceremony. She is usually not tied or in any form of retraints and has to lay herself over her disciplinarian’s lap, push up her bottom and hence make herself available for the punishment. Many couples like to turn this into a complete ceremony, having the young lady stand in front of her educator, pull up her skirt, confess her “sins”, curtain herself accross his lap, very often count the slaps and give thanks for having received the discipline. To many young ladies this ceremony or ritual is a powerful signal of submission.

Safety

Another appealing thing about spanking is the fact that it can be applied with relative very low risk. There isn’t much harm you can do on the bottom and the back of the upper legs, as long as you stay away from the kidney zone directly above the buttocks. And, the disciplinarian will feel his hand warm up and start to sting as the spanking progesses, hence to some extent he “participates” in the sensation his young lady feels. The effects of a good spanking are usually mild, bruises after a good spanking may last two or three days and the bottom will feel hot and stingy for a long time.

This of course only goes for hand spanking. Whenever any attribute is used one should again know what to do and take care of sufficient safety measures – the most important one being not too enthousiastic and allow for sufficient warm up.

Do communicate with your young lady about the possibility of a (limited) public spanking. The fantasy of being spanked in a public situation appeals to many, however be aware that to most that is just a fantasy.

Anticipation, Humiliation and Exposure

Anticipation is a big issue when it comes to spanking. Take your time, let her wait, wriggle, fear and tremble in anticipation of the next slap. Make sure you announce the number of slaps to be awaited. A pause between slaps will also allow her to experience the full effect of the previous slap before the next one is there. Doing things too rapidly is too painful and quickly kills the entire effect as well. The somewhat childish character of spanking is important.
