Another versatile and easy to find piece of BDSM furniture is a simple bar stool.

You can find them almost anywhere, they will usually cost you only a few dollars (buying them second hand or on a car-boot or garage sale is usually easy) and most of them make excellent spanking benches.

They are also very useful for display purposes and even as bondage furniture. Simply use your imagination.

When you set out to buy one – try to find one with a leather top and pay some attention to stability, i.e. the legs should be positioned slightly outward. It is usually a good idea to strengthen the legs with a few simple steel hooks, so the stool can cope with the inevitable movement of a wriggling slave trying to escape her punishment.

If you can find one, make sure there are one or more joints between the legs, which will give you more options for bondage. And do make sure you get a four-legged one, i.e. not one with only one center leg since will not be stable enough for BDSM purposes.
