Milking (Lactation)

It is possible – albeit not with every sub – to train her to the point where she can be “milked” for small amounts of lactate. Before you get enthusiastic about this: the idea may be very appealing but getting her there is a long process and you will only know after a long time if it is at all possible. Plus, once you get there you need to continue training and milking or the ability will fade away again and finally – it is extremely humiliating.

Lactation (milking) training starts slow – very slow and is a daily process, preferably around the same time every day. The idea is that you more or less imitate normal breastfeeding so a regular scheme is a must. If she will respond to it at all, she’ll respond to a natural, daily rhythm.

The first thing you need to do is to make sure the nipples are sensitive all day or at least most of the day. Not every woman has the same sort of “nipple sensitivity” and keeping them sensitive is not the same as painful.

She needs to be stimulated by the feeling. Most of that is done through psychological tricks: the fact that she is trained to be milked – if that appeals to her of course – is the most important one. There are other things you can do to create psychological support for your training scheme. One of the most important ones is buying her one or more “breast feeding bras” a special type of bra, normally used during breast feeding period. These bras offer direct access to her nipples without having to take the entire bra off and having to wear these helps her to get into the right mind set. Also, make sure she is ordered to take extra care of her nipples, such as regular (more than normal) washing. But DON’T overdo all this – the trick is to be subtle about it. Not too subtle so she’ll forget, but not too much either. Since all this is a very individual thing, you may want to experiment a little with all this to find out what exactly works for the two of you.

The physical training

For the physical part of your training schedule you will have to buy two breast pumps: glass or Plexiglas cups with a rubber ball that can be placed on the breast – over the nipple – and vacumized. Pick a specific hour in the day. She needs to be fit, so don’t do this late in the evening. Best try and make a psychological “bridge” with eating, so just before or after dinner may be good timing. And make sure you make this special every day.

Dedicate time and effort to it, have her sit or lay down, place the pumps on her breasts and leave them on for between five and ten minutes (you don’t want the things that are about to happen to be painful, so you’ll need to experiment a little. You want the nipples sensitive as a result of the pump – not painful). When the nipples are ready: take them between your fingers and gently squeeze, pull and twist them at the same time in exactly the same way an old-fashioned farmer would milk a cow. Again: there must a good combination of strength so she feels it, but the pulling/squeezing combination shouldn’t be painful. This too may require quite a bit of personal experimenting before you get it right.

Keep the squeezing/pulling action going rhythmically and slowly for about five to ten minutes and then stop. Certainly during the first weeks there won’t be any milk coming out. Two other things may happen: the nipples may start to bleed a bit or fluid from the lymphatic glands (also white) may come out. We talking one or two drops here and as such that is nothing to worry about – if you have been careful enough this is only the result of the intense stimulation. You can easily determine the difference between lymphatic fluid and milk (no problem tasting it IF the two of you are long time monogamous partners (body fluids including the milk itself may contain the HIV-virus!!). The milk will taste a bit sweet.

Now the important thing to consider here is that it may take weeks or even months to get her to the point where she will start to produce very small amounts of milk (usually a few drops only) and it is difficult to keep up the FUN during such a long period of time. She really has to be into this to be able to maintain training on a positive note. As soon as it starts to irritate (which is likely to happen) better break off the training, because it is not going to work. This is entirely a psychological thing.

Not after pregnancy

It may seem a clever thing to do to try and “hook up” to her feeding abilities after pregnancy, but that is NOT a good idea! Even if she isn’t breastfeeding herself, any “milking” attempt now may heavily interfere with her natural ability to recuperate and end the full size lactate production. As a general rule – don’t attempt any milking training in the first six months after the breastfeeding itself has been fully terminated.
